The Maine coast in AutumnI love coffee shops. One of my great pleasures in life is to spend the day in a shop or bookstore with my laptop and a stack of books and just read. I once did an entire 18-month MBA degree from a table in a Miami Starbucks.
Currently I'm preparing for an upcoming paramedic course; reading up on EKG rhythms, drug dosages, and anatomy/physiology. It's the perfect environment to study, the 21st century library.

It's amusing that while you were writing this, I was sitting in Barnes and Noble with a cup of coffee and a stack of EMT-I review books...
